I made a version of this soup. (I added Italian sausage and left out a couple ingredients.)


  1. It looks delicious!! Let me think... You left out the sun dried tomatoes and maybe the onion powder or some spice since you had Italian sausage. Did you use the half-and-half or milk?

  2. Mom - good guesses! I left out the sundried but only because I didn't want to spend money on them (I don't mind them). I used onion flakes, since that's what I had, and I didn't have garlic so I used a bit of garlic powder. I used half-and-half. Oh and only one can of the tomato soup, because I generally don't like too much liquid in my soup. I could've probably used it, though--at this point it's more like pasta with a cream sauce (which is good too!).

  3. Your version looks and sounds better : )
