Fayelle - Thanks! Yeah, I've become more aware of our different Love Languages over the years and understand better that something that is a big deal to me isn't as much to others, and vise versa.

Your duck pics remind me about the swans that I saw last year on a local lake. I wonder if they're around again... I should check!

I think I'm going to scale back on the goals this year. I was really quite unrealistic with my goals for 2011 and part of it was completely out of my hands but I still feel "bad" about not making more of my goals. Maybe I'm just too hard on myself, though.
I do plan to set some "realistic" goals in 2012 and write down a few of my dreams for 12 too.

I used to be afraid the Gifts love language looked too materialistic too... I've combatted that 2 ways- educating people about love languages and making sure I love people with THEIR language as much as I can. It's really helped!
